Areas Where You Can Use Ceramic Tile

Ceramic tile is known for its durability, low maintenance and versatile use. These tiles can be easily used in different areas of your house and are also available in multiple designs and colors.

    Ceramic tile options for kitchens

To ensure safety even after spills, use ceramic tiles with a matt or sugar finish. In kitchens, where spills and stains are common, glossy ceramic (non-vitrified) tiles are crucial because they are easy to clean and maintain. They are simple to clean with a mop or moist towel. Wall ceramic tiles are a sensible option for kitchens since they are heat resistant and may be used as a backsplash behind ovens and stovetops. The tile used for the countertop must be strong and have a smooth surface. Ceramic tiles can easily match this requirement as well.

    Bedroom and living area

Ceramic tiles that are not vitrified might be used for the walls and flooring of your bedroom and living room. For floor applications in living rooms and bedrooms, they are the most popular option. However, GVT tiles will be a more appealing option for these locations if you can budget a little bit more.

For a range of designs, high gloss, hardwood texture, and polished formats are preferred. Natural finish GVT tiles provide some incredible design options, so you may use them in the living room for added impact.

The following factors should be taken into account while choosing ceramic tiles for your living room:

    The tiles’ dimensions and color

The general design concept you want to stick to

    The presence of natural light

    Spending Plan

Bigger floor tiles can give the impression that a room is larger, and they look amazing when placed on the walls. Conversely, smaller tiles give the floor more visual interest and texture. While brighter colors and patterns can give a dramatic, vibrant vibe, neutral colors like beige, grey, or cream can produce a peaceful, subtle appeal.

Walls and Floor in the Bathroom

You can have three or four distinct tile areas in your bathroom, including the walls and floor- Shower enclosure, vanity countertops and the floor and wall.

The floor of the bathroom can be tiled with practically any pattern or style. However, it needs to have these two characteristics- enhanced wet grip and sufficient inclination in the direction of the drain.

Because they have a better wet grip, ceramic tiles with a matt surface texture are more suited for bathroom floor ceramic tiles (กระเบื้องปูพื้น, term in Thai). Countertop tile may resemble a slab of kitchen countertop material. However, the slab can be thinner because your bathroom counter will not be handling heavy culinary utensils.

Ceramic floor tiles for the front porch

One of the most popular areas for tile decoration is the front elevation. For this location, 3D elevation tiles have proven to be the most popular option. Natural-looking vitrified tiles provide a stunning, robust, and organic front elevation choice.

    Parking floor tiles

Parking floor tiles should have a firm surface that is also well-gripped. The vitrified tiles resemble real stones and even outperform them in terms of beauty. These tiles are more suitable for walkways and ramps where the car will require increased traction.
